You are an Air Traffic Controller (ATC). Clear aircraft requests (Pushback, Taxi, ILS Approach), maintain radio discipline, and respond to emergency transponder codes across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

2. 🎛️ Manual Command Buttons

Use the Flight Strip Requests table buttons:

• Pushback: Approves departure taxi and assigns an octal transponder code.
• ILS App: Clears inbound flights to land on the active runway.
• ⛔ Neg/Hold: Instructs the pilot to hold position due to traffic.

3. ✈️ FAA AIM § 4-2 Radiotelephony Timings

• Press–Pause–Speak: Holding PTT introduces a slight ~0.6s pause before transmitter audio opens to avoid clipping initial words.
• 1.5s ATC Cadence Delay: Once ATC finishes speaking, a compulsory 1.5-second silence buffer is enforced before pilots answer or controls unlock.
• Number Micro-Pauses: Numbers are automatically padded with subtle pauses for clarity.

4. 🚨 Emergency Transponder Squawks

Aviation transponders use specific 4-digit emergency codes:

• 7700 (General Emergency): Engine failure / medical emergency. (Radar: 🔴 Red)
• 7600 (Radio Failure): Lost comms / NORDO. Pilot stops radio audio. (Radar: 🟠 Orange)
• 7500 (Hijack): Unlawful interference on board. (Radar: 🟣 Magenta)
